PRIMARY DETAILWe are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Administration Officer to support and deliver operational and administrative services for the Macquarie University Special Education Centre (MUSEC).
- Salary Package: $93,017 - $102,676 (HEW 6) p.a. plus 17% employer’s superannuation and annual leave loading

THE ROLEReporting to the MUSEC School Principal, with a dotted line to the Macquarie School of Education Operations Manager, the successful candidate will provide critical support for the operational implementation of programs and day-to-day organisational and operational services and administration across MUSEC.This is an exciting opportunity for a highly driven, dynamic and agile Administration Officer to further their career within a collaborative, diverse and rewarding work environment.
Key Accountabilities:Coordinate and manage administration across the full employee lifecycle including recruitment, onboarding, leave and termination in accordance with applicable policies, procedures and systems.Coordinate and provide administration support for visiting and honorary appointments in accordance with applicable policies, procedures and systems.Provide administrative support for school academic workload database and related documents as required.Prepare financial reporting for the School portfolio on expenditure against budget and project accounts and provide ad hoc reports and support as required by the
School Operations Manager.Provide financial, purchasing, procurement and travel administrative services and support to staff as required.Gather, and review data and information to prepare reports or recommendations to meet internal and external requirements and inform department/school decision making.Operationalise University and Faculty policies, processes and systems, liaising with the shared-services centre and business partners as required.Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Contribute to improvements for HR and finance administrative systems, processes and procedures.Comply with relevant professional standards and codes of ethics and EEO and WHS regulations.Perform any other duties as required and appropriate for this classification.
