What You'll Do:

As an Education Specialist with CASPA, you'll be at the forefront of our mission, ‘Inspiring People to Thrive’, serving as an advocate for young people’s well-being and collaborating with various stakeholders to create environments that foster ongoing educational and employment success. From offering personalised learning interventions to teaching essential life skills like communication, problem-solving, and emotional regulation, you'll be their guide on the path to success.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Social Work, Psychology, or related field preferred but not essential
  • Experience working with young people who have experienced trauma or exhibit challenging behaviours
  • Knowledge of trauma-informed teaching strategies
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment
  • Experience in the NT or remote or regional Australia will be viewed favourably
