About The Centre
Thrive, Coniston in Wollongong id close to public transport and offers free street parking.
One of our biggest centres at 112 places, the team have been working hard to create new and inclusive learning areas both inside the centre and in their large natural outdoor environment using their recently received brand-new furniture and resources.

About The Role
This is an exciting opportunity to become the Educational Leader for a dedicated team of quality educators.
This position would suit someone with experience in programming using a planning cycle and the ability to inspire, motivate and maintain a positive learning culture within the centre for children, families and educators.
To ensure you are fully supported in your role, you will be working closely with our Head of Education and Quality as well as all Educational Leaders within Thrive.
You will be joining a dedicated and supportive team where your ideas, input and voice is not only heard but welcomed and encouraged!
Your main responsibilities will be to:
Support educators to assess each child’s learning and development in relation to the approved learning framework, other contemporary theories and the Thrive curriculum
Support educators to critically reflect on each child’s learning and development and on their own pedagogy as part of everyday practice
Reflect on educational pedagogy as part of everyday practice
Maintain a positive working relationship with all team members
Maintain effective communication with parents
Uphold strong work values with a focus on being your best by doing your best

The successful candidate will have:
An Early Childhood Teaching degree (or at least 50% completed)
NESA Teacher Accreditation
A current NSW Working With Children's Check
Sound and practical working knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) & National Quality Standard (NQS)
