About the Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Service Coordinator to join us in making a difference in the lives of the staff, children, and families in our care. Working alongside a dedicated service leadership team, you will be assisting the Nominated Supervisor for:
- Mentoring and development of the staff
- Overseeing the evaluation of the program and its implementation
- Nominated Supervisor during School Holidays.
- Helping with the required administrative records and ensuring compliance with both the regulatory standards and the policies & procedures of NWCC
- Educational Leader for the centre: developing and overseeing the evaluation of the program and its implementation

- Permanent Full-Time position - 76 hours per fortnight

About You
This role is part of the leadership team of NWCC. Success will require you to be able to demonstrate the following characteristics or achievements:
- Diploma in Children’s Services (or equivalent). Cert IV will be considered with a commitment (supported by NWCC) to complete to Diploma level
- Experience assisting or managing a large centre for at least 3 years
- You will be able to demonstrate strong leadership and development of staff
- You will have experience in the Assessment and Rating process, including any appeals or feedback opportunities.
- Experience in developing and maintaining a self-assessment of a service
against the National Quality Standards, including gaining staff and parent
feedback - Experience in coaching, training, and managing staff, including trainee support.
- Experience in Staff administration, eg Rostering, timesheets and leave.
- Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail
- As a childcare professional, you will have a comprehensive knowledge of the National Quality Framework and ‘My Time, Our Place’
- Strong change management skills
- You will hold current First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis management
certificate - You will have a current Working with Children Check
- You will have a certificate in Food Safety or willingness to attain.
- You will have a current Child Protection certificate
- You are able to demonstrate a commitment to the philosophy and values of NWCC
