We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Educational Psychologist to join our teaching staff in 2024.
This is an opportunity to join a school where the focus is on implementing evidence based teaching

Applicants will bring experience of delivering a comprehensive psychology service to schools, including
psychological assessments, funding applications, complex case management, counselling, advocacy and support for students and families, and critical incident response.
You will have experience of working within a multidisciplinary team, with a clear focus on early intervention and capacity building through designing and delivering professional learning for school staff. Your ability to establish and maintain productive and consultative relationships will be critical as will the ability to deliver outcomes and drive change.

• Administering tests and using other assessment tools to determine appropriate strategies for
intervention with students;
• Providing counselling to members of the school community on issues pertaining to their
psychological and emotional wellbeing;
• Working collaboratively with other members of the Learning Support team to deliver positive
outcomes for students at risk;
• Providing referrals to outside agencies as appropriate;
• Assisting in the preparation and delivery of appropriate programs and presentations to staff,
students and parents;
• Keeping accurate records of interviews and writing detailed reports as necessary;
• Case management;
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
• Ability to maintain a high level of integrity;
• Demonstrated ability in assessment and strategy development for students with disabilities and
learning difficulties;
• Sound organisational skills;
• High standard of effective verbal and written communication skills;
• The ability to work within strict Privacy Act Guidelines
Qualifications Required: (if applicable)
• Relevant minimum four year tertiary qualification in Psychology;
• Be eligible for registration with the Psychology Board of Australia
Desirable:
• An appropriate teaching degree;
• Be fully registered with the Psychology Board of Australia
