About the role
We are seeking an inspiring and passionate Lead Educator to join our team at Balmoral and embark on a wonderful new journey with us. We have an opportunity in our Kindergarten room, working alongside the Early Childhood Teachers to support the studio team or in our 2.5 year to 3.5 year old space.
We are seeking an Educator, you will be directly accountable for the delivery of quality education and care ensuring that all children are inspired to investigate, create, and explore their environment and participate in the educational program.
We pride ourselves on our exceptional Leadership structure consisting of a full-time Relationships Manager, responsible for all enrolment management and family engagement, a full-time non-contact Educational Leader who drives high quality educational outcomes and hands-on coaching for our educating team for best practice and a full-time Centre Director to lead quality and support our Centre achieve success.
About the Centre
Harmony Balmoral is a 113 place, boutique Centre located close to bus stops, with ample parking. We have a lovely vegetable and flower garden and recently renovated outdoor areas for children and Educators to enjoy.
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
- The ability to provide strong foundations for children's learning and development
- Knowledge of early childhood development
- Planning and implementing well-structured, age-appropriate learning goals and teaching programs that engage children and promote learning
- The ability to identify, plan and engage in professional learning to improve practice
- Professional behaviour and respectful interactions with children, families, and colleagues
- Respectful, collaborative partnerships with families regarding their children's learning and wellbeing.
- Effective teaching strategies to support children's literacy and numeracy achievement.
- Current Blue Card
- Current First Aid Certificate including asthma and anaphylaxis training
- Current recognised resuscitation certificate
- Diploma in Children’s services (or ACECQA Approved qualification), or working towards
- Current Child Protection Training or willingness to obtain.
