Balmoral House Private Preschool is a boutique service licensed for 60 children.
We are committed to providing an educational program, which develops over time with the growth and needs of our children (0-5 years).
We support an emergent curriculum where play-based learning, intentional and spontaneous teaching are fundamental for nurturing children's learning and development.
We believe that high-quality early childhood education should be driven by dedicated educators and teachers who are committed to critical reflection, continuous improvement and professional development.
The successful applicant will have strong references. You will also present with a strong knowledge of the EYLF and the NQS and be able to articulate its practical application within the Service.
Ideal applicants will have:
- Early childhood or equivalent (recognised by ACECQA) or actively studying towards
- First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis Certificates and Working With Children Check
- Knowledge of National Quality Framework and Standards and the Early Years Learning Framework
- Demonstrated ability to develop, plan and implement the high quality, educational and child-centred program
- An ability to document observations of children's behaviour and development
- An ability to implement a planned program, ensuring the needs of individual children and the group are met
- Exceptional relationship skills with families, children and other educators within the Service
Role:
- Planning and implementing an educational program for children which reflects our play-based curriculum
- Maintain ongoing records of the children's development, program and daily information.
- Ensure compliance with the Education and Care Services National Regulations and ensuring high-quality practices that align with the National Quality Standards.
- Working cooperatively with all team members and stakeholders in supporting curriculum implementation, critical reflection, professional development as well as individual goals and performance.
