About the role
Brisbane Girls Grammar School is currently accepting applications for the position of Development & Alumnae Relations Officer.
The role involves providing support and contributing to the department’s strategies and initiatives in fundraising, philanthropy, alumnae, and signature events.
The ideal candidate will have excellent administrative, communication, and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to establish and maintain stakeholder relationships to foster engagement. You will also have:
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline, such as Office/Business Administration or Events Management
- A minimum of five years experience working in a similar position
- Demonstrated technical competency across the Microsoft Office Suite and advanced functionality in using a client relationship management (CRM) system
- Strong writing, formatting and communication skills, with well-developed written expression and grammar and a keen eye for detail
- Strong organisational and time management skills to prioritise competing demands and deliver quality outcomes within set timeframes
- Proven ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
- Proven ability to liaise professionally with stakeholders in a skilful manner, understanding the importance of protocol and quality customer service
- Highly professional presentation and manner, including a polished telephone manner
- Ability to acquire and maintain a Positive Working with Children Check. (Blue Card)
