Roster: Rotating Roster (8/6 Dayshift, 7/7 Nightshift)
Contract: 3-6 months
Pay Rate: $85-$90ph
Job Description: As an E&I Technician, you will be responsible for performing electrical and instrumentation maintenance tasks in accordance with safety standards and company procedures. This role involves working on a rotating roster of 8/6 dayshift and 7/7 nightshift, ensuring continuous operations and minimal downtime.
Minimum Requirements:
- Valid WA Electrical Licence
- Proficiency in Instrumentation
- Experience working with High Voltage (HV)
- Competency in Working at Heights
- Elevated Work Platform (EWP) High Risk Work Licence (HRWL)
- Valid Driver's Licence
- Own Hand Tools
- Current Low Voltage Rescue (LVR) and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certificate
- Willingness to maintain a clean-shaven appearance or ability to supply Personal Air-Purifying Respirator (PAPR)
- 2-3 years of experience in mining, preferably in the nickel or oil and gas industry
- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on electrical and instrumentation equipment
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and instrumentation faults
- Perform installations, calibrations, and upgrades as required
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures
- Participate in safety meetings and inspections
- Complete relevant documentation and reports accurately and promptly
