About the role
We have opportunities available for experienced EI&C Supervisors to join our construction team on an iconic Iron Ore Construction Project located in the Pilbara region of WA working a 2/1 FIFO Roster from Perth or Brisbane.
Reporting to the Commissioning Manager you will be responsible for safe and effective management of all pre-commissioning /commissioning activities leading to project completion.
Commissioning skills required. Testing input/output and trouble shooting. Vast experience with instrumentation and field protection devices for iron ore crushing and screening plant.
These roles are all on a 2/1 FIFO roster from Perth or Brisbane.
The role
- Contribute to the achievement of Crushing Services International safety targets and zero tolerance of unsafe working practices and occurrences.
- Assist in developing, and ensure adherence to a detailed commissioning schedule and plan, covering all aspects of pre-commissioning and start-up phases through to handover.
- Assist in the planning and co-ordination the commissioning/start up schedule and necessary work with third party providers.
- Develop pre-commissioning test procedures and documentation. Correct any deficiencies found.
- Ensure compliance and progress reports are produced in accordance with company and legislative requirements.
- Prepare company acceptance forms and ensure satisfactory sign-off is obtained.
- Develop comprehensive quality, environment and safety commissioning plans.
- Observe safe systems of work relevant to your work area and report potential hazards.
What you’ll bring to the team
- 3+ years previous experience leading teams in an Electrical Supervisory capacity.
- Demonstrated commissioning experience on large construction projects in testing input/output and trouble shooting.
- Vast experience with instrumentation and field protection devices for iron ore crushing and screening plant.
- C Class Driver’s Licence.
- Current WA ‘A’ Grade Electrical Licence.
- Current HV Certificate.
- Current Senior First Aid Certificate.
- Cert III Instrumentation or Cert IV Instrumentation.
- Section 44.
- S26 desirable but not essential.
- Electrical nominee / contractor registration desirable.
