About the Role:

The Ecosystem Reform and Governance (ERG) Branch leads the client’s involvement in reforms to the disability ecosystem. The ERG Branch provides analysis and advice to inform and influence the development, negotiation, and delivery of future-state intergovernmental agreements and programs that interact with the client.

The EL 1 Assistant Director Ecosystem Reform (Labour Hire) is an important team leadership position and will have delegated authority and responsibility to resolve issues and risks across wide-ranging activities of substantial depth involving significant detail. The successful candidate will be responsible for actively managing key internal and external stakeholder relationships and where required will represent and negotiate on behalf of the client to advance their interests across a range of forums.

Responsibilities for the Role include:

• Work with state and territory Governments on reforms that better meet the needs of stakeholders who interface with mainstream systems, including justice, child protection, health, housing, education, and transport systems.
• Developing comprehensive briefings.
• Seek and analyse expert advice from various business areas, lead negotiations with external stakeholders, and influence decision-making.
• Develop comprehensive briefings that support Senior Executives to engage in reform discussions with Governments and stakeholders including developing briefing and correspondence for the Minister, the Client Board, and the Executive.
• Ensure performance and reporting requirements are met within time frames and quality standards.
