The Base Manager (BM) is required to understand the capability outputs at their respective establishment and actively work to achieve outcomes that recognise this. The BM will manage complex customer relationships, including the management of stakeholder expectations as well as negotiate and liaise with stakeholders both internally and externally to ensure positive outcomes. The BM will plan and oversee the implementation of safety, risk, emergency and security management on the base to ensure the smooth running of the base.About our Team
The Northern & Central Zone (NCZ) sits within the Service Delivery Division (SDD) and provides a wide variety of products and services to support Defence capability. The NCZ provides essential, on-the-ground services and support to Defence personnel in the Northern Territory and Queensland.The NCZ is structured to optimise support to Defence and consists of Base Management, Estate Management & Planning, Environment & Sustainability Teams in each State and Territory as well as a Zone Operations & Coordination Team, based in Queensland.Our Ideal Candidate
