El1 Assistant Director (Affirmative Measure – Disability)

The successful applicants will have the opportunity to work on policies and programs that provide targeted supports and services for people with disability and carers. This includes policy related to the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), Disability Employment Services (DES) and Australia’s Disability Strategy 2021-31.

You may be involved in a range of activities including leading the development of high quality, evidence based policy advice, leading community engagement and co-design of policies, programs or services that enable all people with disability to participate as equal members of the community. Supporting negotiations across the Commonwealth and with states and territories on reform, and/or supporting governance, reporting and evaluation activities.
