/ / / / / / Career Opportunities Career Opportunities EL1 Assistant Director Operations Applications Close: 15/02/2024 11:45 PM Occupation: Administration/Support Service, Management Location: Sydney Metropolitan, Brisbane Metropolitan, Melbourne Metropolitan Work Type: Ongoing - Full Time, Non-ongoing - Full Time The Administrative Appeals Tribunal is seeking skilled and capable managers to assist the Director of Operations in the management and leadership of the Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney registries. The role ensures the efficient and effective leadership, management and coaching of Registry staff to achieve high quality services to members of the public and Members of the AAT as they undertake administrative appeals of commonwealth government decisions. As part of the registry management team, the role directly supervises the Team Leaders of Registry Operations in undertaking their duties. The role performs various management activities including, recruitment, staff development, performance management, caseload management, and assisting the Director of Operations in optimising registry operations. There are currently numerous roles available in Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney registries. Particular roles may relate to a particular division or divisions of the AAT or to a specific operational area. Successful candidates are expected to work in any of these roles within their location. The annual salary for this position is from $108,997 to $128,291 plus 15.4% superannuation. Our newly approved Enterprise Agreement will deliver a 4% pay increase from 14 March 2024. Position Eligibility Requirements: The AAT requires Australian citizenship as a condition of engagement. All employees are required to undertake an Australian Federal Police Check and health assessment. The successful applicant will also be required to have or be willing to obtain and maintain Baseline Security Clearance level. Desirable: Tertiary qualifications in a field of study that might complement the required capabilities OR relevant experience in a similar work environment.
