THE ROLE
The Assistant Director: Public Programs is a key leadership position within the Community Engagement Section. The role works across the Library to deliver an ambitious schedule of Public Programs that support our strategic priorities.
We are seeking an experienced public program manager to work with stakeholders and Library staff to deliver engaging experiences that nourish Australians’ curiosity about our nation’s past, present and future. This role requires a dynamic and motivated team player who can develop public program opportunities that draw on our vast collection, and work across the library to deliver them.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Do you have experience in conceiving and delivering Public Programs and events? Do you enjoy fast-paced event planning and delivery?
Our ideal candidate will possess excellent planning and project management skills which they use to lead a small team and deliver a wide range of public events. We are seeking someone with the ability to conceive and deliver a mixture of on-site and online Public Programs that delight, inspire and invite engagement with the Library.
