The new accreditation program was rolled out formally last year and this role will help support health services and trial sites to implement the National Clinical Trials Governance Framework and prepare for accreditation.
Guided by your expertise in the Governance Framework and understanding the trial site requirements, you will be managing stakeholders' enquiries, providing technical expertise and advice to hospitals and health services stakeholders throughout the assessment process and undertaking project management activities including assessment scheduling, project planning, drafting reports, briefs, advisory group papers etc.
You will have the opportunity to provide input into strategy, risk management and stakeholder engagement - a unique opportunity to bring your expertise in Clinical Trials and actively contribute to national improvements in healthcare safety and quality and to achieving a safe, high-quality and sustainable health system.
To be considered for this role, you must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident and, ideally have the following skills and experience:
- Sound experience in leading Clinical Trials or clinical operations in Australian Clinical Trials environment
- Understanding of the safety, quality standards and governance of Clinical Trials in Australia is preferred.; Experience in implementing the National Clinical Trials Governance Framework is desirable.
- Highly developed project management skills, strong time management with experience managing competing priorities while coordinating projects; and in other functional areas as required.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to foster positive stakeholder relationships with healthcare professionals and healthcare organisations
