Join HOBAN Recruitment, a trusted recruitment agency, as we seek a dedicated EL2 Level Branch Manager - Business Improvement for a role we have had become available with our client based in Canberra, ACT .
We are excited to introduce the Branch Manager role for our newly established branch, Enabling Services Transformation and Improvement (ESTI). As the EL2 you will have the unique opportunity to pioneer the development of this branch, focusing on Business Improvement and instilling a culture of continuous improvement throughout the agency. Our client, a leading organisation dedicated to enhancing the lives of individuals with disabilities, is seeking passionate individuals to contribute to their mission.

Role Overview:
This is a groundbreaking role, not previously established within the agency. Your primary responsibility will be to look towards the future, strategically planning and maturing the direction of the ESTI branch.
Essential to your success will be understanding and shaping the internal service delivery module.
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
Leading multiple Business Improvement engagements that transition business experiences to their desired future states.
Driving operating model maturity, process uplift and transformation in end-to-end business outcomes.
Developing a business architecture to optimise business operations and processes.
Applying improvement frameworks to drive improved business outcomes.
Empowering business areas with change management support to embed the business area transformation and improvements.
Establishing a governance structure for tracking and monitoring portfolio progress.
Leading a dedicated team of improvement practitioners, embedding collaborative efforts with initiative owners.
Tailoring and developing initiatives that directly enhance the operational efficiency of their respective business areas.

Up to an Initial 6-month assignment with the possibility of an extension, based on business requirements, providing job security and potential long-term prospects.
Full-time position, offering 37. 5 hours per week, Monday to Friday , enabling a healthy work-life balance and time.

About You:
To thrive in this role, you'll need:
Extensive experience and expertise in Business Improvement methodologies.
Leadership skills to guide a team of skilled resources.
Proven ability in stakeholder engagement and influence.
Aptitude for engaging in robust conversations with leaders, analysing the current business operating model, and offering strategic insights.
Depth of knowledge across industry practices, with a preference for previous government experience.
Empathetic resources capable of facilitating a cultural shift within the team.
Be able to pass a National Police Check
