What You Will Be Doing

The Elective Surgery Booking Officer is an integral role within the Elective Surgery Waiting List Office, in the Department of Surgery. We are seeking to fill a Limited Term Full Time/Part time position.

The role supports the day to day functioning of the Elective Surgery Waiting List Office, supported by the Elective Surgery Access Manager. It focuses on the ongoing maintenance of the Elective Surgery Waiting List and the accurate updating of patient data as per the guidelines of ESIS (Elective Surgery Information Systems)

What You Need

We anticipate you will have:
• Demonstrated experience at administrative level
• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills including excellent telephone manner
• Medical Terminology
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications desirable

*Please refer to salary circular for Victorian Public Health Sector (Health Professionals, Health and Allied Services, Managers & Administrative Officers) Enterprise Agreement 2021-2025 for salary range. Sub-grading will be based on qualification and years of experience base salary
