Provide administrative and advisory support to Tasmanian Greens Member, Cecily Rosol MP, including responding to enquiries, organising appointments and functions, preparing documentation, researching information and maintaining records and databases.
Duties- Respond to and coordinate responses to constituent and stakeholder enquiries and maintain associated CRM records.
- Manage the Member’s appointment diary and coordinate electorate appointments, invitations, functions, and donation requests for the Member.
- Attend electorate events with the Member and as required, represent the Member at events and meetings on their behalf.
- Manage email correspondence as autonomously as possible.
- Prepare correspondence, documentation, Right to Information requests and other electorate material.
- Undertake research on electorate issues and prepare documents for Parliament.
- Maintain office management systems as well as office administration tasks as directed by the Member.
- Undertake other duties within this level and range of responsibilities which are within the employee’s competence and skill level.
- Assist in office management and reception roles, as required.

Position Description
Crown Prerogative AppointmentsEmployees of Members of Parliament are appointed with Crown Prerogative Instruments of Appointment. These staff are not State Service employees as they are not employed under the provisions of
the State Service Act 2000, or Award employees.
The period of appointment for these Appointees is:
- For the pleasure of the Premier’s delegate (the Leader of the Tasmanian Greens); or
- Until the resignation or termination of the Government; or
- For a period specified in the Instrument.
whichever occurs first.
Unless advertised for being for a specific period, there is not proposed to be a specific termination period in the instrument of appointment.
After an election contracts may be renewed for another term.
