Get excited! Our client, a global leader in Food & Beverage manufacturing, are heavily investing $300m into CAPEX, and therefore, we are looking for outstanding Electrical & Automation Engineers for a Full-time position at the Blayney, NSW plant.
Your Purpose
Ensure all site electrical systems are always operating reliably and safely. Providing advanced electrical engineering and technical support to trades and production teams. In addition, you will provide site engineering with the required competence on Factory Automation Systems (FAS), Process Control Systems and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) to effectively support manufacturing operational activities and continuously improve manufacturing performance.
Your Responsibilities
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will;
- Support and monitor factory CAPEX
- Ensure process and equipment safety
- Appropriately manage modifications
- Execute market strategy for MES, Electricity and Automation alignment with standards
- Manage factory Electrical system with LV, MV design and HV third party support
- Provide technical support and directions for PLC/SCADA/HMI programming, high voltage Electricity, selection of instrumentation, calibration, process control, industrial networking and troubleshooting
- Implement, maintain, and configure automation/IT network and MES
- Support, manage and develop site Electricians

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills Required
- Tertiary qualifications in Electrical, Mechatronics, Controls or Automation Engineering
- 3+ years’ experience of development on Food or Beverage engineering projects
- Detailed knowledge of HV, MV, LV, controls and automation systems
- Exposure to TPM, preventative maintenance and/or manufacturing execution systems
- Strong problem-solving ability and continuous improvement mindset
