The Role
As the Senior Electrical & Automation Engineer you will report directly to the Electrical and Automation Lead. You will be overall responsible for overseeing, managing, and executing electrical and automation projects throughout the business.
- Oversee electrical design and automation programming for capital/CAPEX projects and site upgrades.
- Provide escalation support to site teams for effective project execution.
- You will be accountable for supervising new electrical installations, SCADA installations, commissioning, redrawing software, and the overall life cycle management of automation systems.
- Ensure adherence to product quality and uphold the highest standards in compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.
- Focus on hands-on implementation and delivery of PLC and SCADA projects, with high-level Project Management provided by another resource when necessary.
About You
- Background/Qualifications in Engineering, specialising in Electrical, Mechatronics, or Automation.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Electrical Engineering/Automation.
- Preferably, a background in manufacturing, specifically within FMCG/Food industries.
- Demonstrated experience in working with various PLC/SCADA platforms and managing multiple electrical installations.
- Proficient in handling PLC/SCADA networks remotely.
- Capability to support other engineers and trades personnel in electrical and automation systems.
- Proactive mindset and being able to work autonomously.
