About the Role
We currently have an available position for an Electrical BIM Modeller within our Melbourne office.
About You
- The successful applicant will seek to support the growth of business through continuous improvement practices within the organisation.
- To be successful in this role it is expected that you will have the following:
- Autodesk Revit MEP Professional
- Ability to implement the requirements and intents of relevant standards, regulations and guidelines.
- Strong understanding of all Autodesk products and procedures for all disciplines.
- Experience with Quality Assurance systems and procedures.
- Professional consultation skills, clear and effective verbal and written communications.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and people skills.
- A passion for sustainability, a progressive mindset, and a desire to challenge current practices.
- Full working rights with no restrictions.
- Australian citizenship preferred to meet our project requirements such as Defence baseline security clearance.
Role particulars
- Assist the National and South Australian BIM Managers in creating and maintaining Lucid Standard BIM documentation, templates procedures and guidelines as required for future projects.
- Constant revision and monitoring of projects to ensure that BIM standards, protocols, and plans are executed.
- Preparation and setting up of projects (project documentation) for teams within the Adelaide office, as per project requirements to ensure consistent documentation
- Communication within the design team both internally and externally for the management and coordination of modelling and documentation protocols.
- Development, creation and maintenance of Revit features and content.
- Leading, training and mentoring of graduate and experienced engineers/modellers, assisting with Revit and procedures, within the Adelaide Office and nationally as required.
- Assisting the National and South Australian BIM Managers in the development and creation of learning tools including maintenance and updating of the development section within LucidNet.
- Run coordination sessions between internal and external teams for clash detection where required.
- Research and develop innovation and efficiency tools.
- Familiarisation with existing office procedures, design techniques, calculation methods, and design software.
- Working in teams with our clients, other engineers/designers and staff, and taking direction from the state manager and other Project Team Leaders in order to ensure the smooth delivery of project requirements.
