Electrical Design Engineer

Our is a leading provider of innovative solutions in the field of electrical engineering. They specialize in designing and implementing cutting-edge electrical systems for the food and beverage and FMCG processing industry.

Responsibilities:

• Designing electrical systems and components in accordance with project requirements and industry standards.
• Conducting feasibility studies and risk assessments to evaluate the viability of proposed designs.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams including project managers, mechanical engineers, and software developers to ensure the successful execution of projects.
• Developing technical specifications, drawings, and documentation for electrical systems and components.
• Performing calculations, simulations, and analyses to optimize designs and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Participating in design reviews and providing technical guidance and support to junior engineers and technicians.
• Identifying opportunities for process improvements and cost reductions through innovative design solutions.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience in Electrical Design, preferably in the manufacturing/processing industry.
• Full Australian working rights.
• Proficiency in Electrical Design software such as AutoCAD, EPLAN, or similar tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to Electrical Design.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
