Excellent opportunity for an Electrical Engineer with previous experience of working in either heavy industry or mining. As a key member of the team and reporting directly to the Electrical & Support Superintendent, this role will see you supporting the EEM, Operational Technology, Electrical and operational projects and providing technical support across all areas of accountability within the Open Cut Engineering and Maintenance teams.
Based on site in the Bowen Basin, you will be a results-oriented person with excellent communication skills who will eagerly accept the many challenges associated with this role.
Responsibilities:
- Ensuring all regulations including Australian standard and guidelines for Electrical and Operational Infrastructure.
- Working on Maintenance Management systems.
- Contributing to the compliance of relevant electrical safety and Electrical Engineering standards across the site.
- Promoting continuous improvements.
- Working on Electrical Projects.
- Problem Solving on Maintenance issues.
About you:
- Tertiary qualifications in Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering.
- Previous experience in a similar role in mining or heavy industry.
- Functional knowledge of processes FMEA/RCM and RCFA.
- Strong focus on innovation, to ensure enhancements to procedures and processes that achieve improvements in performance, safety, job satisfaction and productivity.
