Electrical Engineer

Alchemy Recruitment is currently working alongside a successful energy provider who is seeking an experienced Electrical  Engineer in the Rockhampton region.

DUTIES REQUIRED IN THIS ROLE:

• Provide comprehensive Electrical Engineering support and advice to production teams.
• Implement engineering and maintenance strategies, contributing to medium-term asset life plans.
• Lead operational-level engineering projects with a focus on plant performance, reliability, and sustainability.
• Drive technical, quality, and work practice improvements within the team.

EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES:

• Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical) degree holder.
• 3 - 5  + years of experience in thermal power stations or related process industries.
• Strong project management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Exceptional technical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Leadership skills to mentor team members and contribute to team success.

This is a permanent opportunity based in Rockhampton with a leading power provider who is providing significant contributions to coal generation and mining operations, with a competitive annual salary package and 12.75 super contribution and additional bonus. Working on a 4 day week Tuesday to Friday (40 hours). Relocation assistance will be provided, for candidates looking to relocate.
