About the Role
Due to our continued growth/success, we are looking for suitably qualified and experienced "Senior Electrical Design Engineer" to join our team.
- Lead the design and development of electrical systems for construction projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Manage multiple Electrical Design projects simultaneously, from conception to completion, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in electrical engineering and incorporate them into design solutions to enhance project efficiency and performance.
- Implement QA/QC processes to review and verify the accuracy and completeness of Electrical Design drawings, calculations, and specifications.
- Prepare comprehensive design documentation, including drawings, specifications, calculations, and reports, to communicate design intent and requirements to construction teams and regulatory authorities.
- Able to read and understand complex engineering drawings, comprehend, and critique construction methodologies and proposals.
- Ensure HSEQ compliance / reporting is achieved and communicate any changes to relevant policies and procedures.
- Highlight where financial management should be improved to ensure cost effectiveness.
About You
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following;
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in the Engineering design Industry and Electrical Design experience.
- Current Australian Driver’s License & Construction Induction White Card.
- Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and work in a fast-paced construction environment.
