As a group, we are growing rapidly and as part of the Queensland Energy and Jobs Plan (QEJP), actively helping to advance the energy transition towards net zero.We have multiple permanent opportunities for Electrical Fitter Mechanics to join our Customer Service team located in Mareeba.About the roles:As an Electrical Fitter Mechanic, you will:
Be trade qualified with a Queensland Electrical Licensing Board Certificate of Competency as an Electrical Fitter Mechanic.
Install, repair, commission and maintain various items of electrical equipment and plant.
Remuneration starts from $93k pa + 12.75% Superannuation.Desirable in all roles:
Heavy Rigid (HR) Licence.
Forklift Truck Licence.
WP High Risk Work Licence (operate EWP device).
Switching experience.
Underground cable jointing experience an advantage but not essential.

About you:Critical to your success in the role, is your:
Demonstrated knowledge of an electricity distribution/transmission system, including construction and maintenance of the electrical network.
Working knowledge of Electricity Act & Regulations, Workplace Health & Safety Act and Regulations, and other relevant statutory acts & regulations.
Ability to operate within Energy Queensland (Ergon Energy and Energex) requirements for quality, safety and risk assessment compliance.
Availability for call out and emergency work.
Willingness to travel to surrounding areas from time to time to undertake a work.
Current ‘C’ class open Drives Licence.
