The role of an Electrical Instrumentation Technician involves performing maintenance work on plant items according to the contracts managed by Service Stream. This position contributes to the safe, effective, and profitable operation of Service Stream sites by ensuring compliance with safety standards, delivering high-quality maintenance services, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities
- Perform planned and reactive maintenance in a petrochemical environment.
- Troubleshoot, calibrate, repair, and service fixed plant instrumentation and electrical assets.
- Execution of planned and unplanned breakdown maintenance
- Maintenance and fault finding; troubleshoot, calibrate, repair, and service fixed plant instrumentation and electrical assets.
- General electrical maintenance & minor project work
- Control wiring
- Maintaining LV wiring systems
- Ensure maintenance job compliance by following processes and procedures to maintain a safe workplace.
- Promote and identify HSE opportunities to improve equipment, processes, and behaviors.
- Provide technical support to engineering and clients.
- Identify and implement improvement initiatives, which may involve working with many different disciplines within the organization.
- Work autonomously, being reliable and positively contributing to the maintenance team, understanding the requirement to maintain assets in a safe and reliable condition.
- Participate in a call-out/on-call roster
About You
- Current Drivers Licence
- A Grade Electrical License
- Certificate 3 or 4 in Instrumentation & Control or equivalent
- Prior experience in a heavy industrial trade environment
- Proven ability to plan and prioritise work effectively.
