About the role (x2)
We are offering two full-time fixed-term contracts, each spanning two years. We are currently seeking experienced I&E Technicians to support maintenance on our Moomba to Adelaide natural gas transmission pipeline. You will work at field compressor stations and gas metering facilities. The roles offer a 15 on/13 off roster with a crew change at Adelaide Airport.
These autonomous technical roles require ensuring infrastructure management and a reliable energy flow to customers. We prioritise safety, quality, environmental, and cultural heritage practices. Successful candidates will work both independently and collaboratively, demonstrating technical expertise and alignment with OUR EPIC values.
Skills and Qualifications
- South Australian Electrical Worker's Licence
- Instrumentation Certificate III or IV
- Self-reliance and the capability to ensure allocated jobs are completed to a high standard in an efficient and timely manner
- Hazardous areas electrical equipment qualifications
- Significant industry experience (energy /process / power generation) (desirable)
- Detailed knowledge of gas transmission pipelines, AS3000 wiring rules and heavy industry asset operation and maintenance (desirable)
- Experience working with gas process electrical and instrumentation systems and equipment (such as gas turbines, reciprocating engines, alternators, metering and control systems) (desirable)
- Hold a current unencumbered driver's licence and competent driving a manual vehicle

You will need to be a competent and diligent tradesperson who is self-motivated and driven to troubleshoot and problem solve. You will have a strong work ethic and a willingness to work as a team in a remote environment. While you will be able to be adaptable and resilient, your work ethic and decision-making skills will ensure your success in this role.
