About the role
We are looking for Electrical Maintainers to perform preventative and breakdown maintenance assigned tasks within the Rolling Stock Maintenance team.

This role is a great opportunity for someone who is keen to work in the Inland area of the Pilbara working in Tom Price on a fly in fly out 8 days on and 6 days off roster from Perth or Regional Location. Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor, the successful candidate’s duties will include:
- Conducting scheduled maintenance and breakdown repairs to RTIO rail network assets, including but not limited to: ViaCar MFBW, Plasser & Thuerer Track Machines, Pettibones, Volvo, Bobcat surface mobile equipment. Maintain a high level of safety awareness and comply with all RTIO Company Policies and procedures
- Actively contribute to continuous improvement projects – increasing safety whilst reducing risk & cost
- Utilise SAP to ensure that maintenance tasks are recorded, corrective work identified correctly and completed to the relevant standard / specification
To be successfully considered for this role, you will have:
- An outstanding approach to safety and safe work practices.
- An Electrical Trade qualification and unrestricted WA A Grade Electrical Licence
- A manual C Class driver’s licence
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment to achieve results
- Fault finding skills with ability to read schematics
- Previous experience with instrumentation
- Positive and proactive attitude.
- Self-driven, reliable and have a “can do” approach to the role.
- Experience with Heavy Mobile Earthmoving equipment.
- High risk licences (Elevated Work Platform (EWP), Vehicle Loaded Crane (VLC) Forklift, dogging or riggers ticket)
- Exposure to a maintenance management system, such as SAP
