GAF TECH Pty Ltd is a recognised field service provider based in Western Sydney supplying a high quality metering service to various energy retailers and meter providers.
Our business is continually growing which calls for additional field staff within our bulk meter exchange program. We're currently seeking candidates for the role of a Metering Field Supervisor, responsible for overseeing our field team and ensuring adherence to regulations and standards.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assist with quality assurance and work, health and safety obligations through audits (desktop, post work and process).
- Assist with reviewing documentation relating to safety and compliance (SWMS, SWPs, Work Instructions and Safety Alerts).
- Assist with stock distribution and management.
- Creating and communicating technical and safety alerts for employees and subcontractors.
- Be prepared to carry out works in the event of field staff unavailability to ensure consistency in service delivery.
- Carry out ‘buddy’ training and assessment of new field staff being on-boarded onto the project.
- Assist with technical enquiries that may arise from field staff.
The successful candidates must have:
- Type 4 Meter Installation Training Certificate.
- Have experience in smart electricity metering
- Must have a sound understanding of the NSW Service and Installation Rules, Metering Installation Rules and relevant network standards.
- Be reliable, punctual and takes pride in their work.
- Good communication and literacy skills.
- Proficiency in computer use, utilising Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
The following qualifications are notably favourable:
- PlusES Metering Competency (or other metering provider).
- Class 2D - Energising Service Equipment (Level 2).
- Previous experience with the PlusES advanced metering work.
