Duties and tasks:
As the Electrical Permit Officer, you will be working on site in Mudgee. You will report into the Project Manager of the site and work alongside the Commissioning Manager.
Some duties include (but not limited to):
- Develop and implement strategies for connecting the solar farm to the electrical grid in compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Lead the process of obtaining all necessary permits and approvals for electrical systems and grid connection activities
- Serve as the primary point of contact with utility companies and regulatory agencies regarding grid connection requirements, technical specifications, and interconnection agreements.
- Maintain accurate records of all grid connection permits, approvals, subcontractor activities, and correspondence
- Must have an Electrical Qualification (Licensed Electrician or Bachelors of Electrical Engineering)
- Proven experience within the Solar Farm commissioning process
- Previous experience with Grid Connection and/or Permit management
- Strong project management skills
- Be available to work on site, 3:1 roster
- Well established and reputable renewables company
- Large scale project exposure
- Site-based role, Mudgee NSW - 3:1 roster
- Up to $150k plus super - depending on experience
- Accommodation & transport provided
