Here’s What You’ll Need:
Jacobs offer a full range of power generation and transmission services from pre feasibility, through to detailed design, tendering, construction and site supervision. We appreciate each client’s requirements are different, and each service may require specific tailoring. Jacobs Transmission and Distribution team is expanding, looking for someone who has completed their Graduate program, with a few years of experience looking to take the next step in their career. If you are interested in developing and delivering consultancy engineering services in the fields of Power engineering, we're looking to hear from those with the following:
- Electrical Engineer with working design knowledge in HV/MV/LV electrical equipment including switchboards, MCCs, cable conveyance/distribution, basic backup generation, protection systems and earthing.
- Ability to deliver technical engineering designs and consultancy services design review on Projects.
- Previous experience in mining, industrial/processing, water/wastewater, rail and infrastructure industry is preferred.
- Skilled in engaging with clients including overseeing meetings.
- Well developed report writing capabilities coupled with the ability to communication and liaise with geographically diverse stakeholder groups.
- Relevant Electrical Engineering qualification.
