About you
We are searching for a high-achieving, quick witted, organised and charismatic Electrical Project Manager with a natural magnetism towards client interaction, problem-solving and working together as a team.
In this role, you'll be responsible for the complete Project Management process from initial handover from the Estimation team through to the defects liability period and beyond. You'll work together with your Site Supervisor to ensure your jobs are planned well and executed smoothly. You must have the ability (and desire!) to effectively and efficiently manage multiple projects at any one given time, and be technically savvy with strong problem-solving abilities and a high attention to detail. You will operate autonomously but within established processes (experience with Simpro and understanding project financials and reporting desirable). Your self-awareness will allow you to identify when you need assistance and your lack of ego will mean that you won't be too proud to ask for help.
Experience as an electrician is absolutely essential - ideally 4-5 years+ post-trade qualified on the tools and several years thereafter as a PM with commercial construction and fit-out packages ranging from $100k - $3M.
