We have an exciting role available to lead the delivery of a significant solar farm project in Victoria, with a promising pipeline of future projects. This role offers a FIFO roster of 10 days on and 4 days off.
Role and Responsibilities:
As the Electrical Site Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing all electrical aspects of the solar farm project, ensuring its successful completion and contributing to the development of renewable energy infrastructure in Victoria. Your responsibilities will include:
Managing and coordinating all electrical installation activities on-site, including wiring, cabling, and equipment installation.
Supervising a team of electricians and subcontractors to ensure work is carried out to the highest standards of quality and safety.
Liaising with project stakeholders, including engineers, contractors, and clients, to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Conducting regular site inspections and quality checks to identify and address any issues or deviations from project specifications.
Ensuring compliance with relevant electrical codes, regulations, and industry standards.
Managing project documentation, including electrical drawings, permits, and certifications.
Providing technical guidance and support to the project team, resolving any technical challenges that may arise during construction.
Monitoring project progress and budgetary expenditures, and reporting to senior management as required.
Experience and Qualifications:
Valid a grade electrical license.
Proven experience as an Electrical Site Manager or similar role, preferably within the utility scale solar sector or renewables sector.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, equipment, and installation techniques.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Commitment to safety, quality, and adherence to project deadlines.
