FIFO Superintendent to provide on-site supervision and safely coordinate the Electrical Maintenance on fixed plant operations.
In this role you would manage all aspects of the daily operational requirements associated with Electrical services for Shutdowns in the Pilbara and Port Headland region on FMG sites for ongoing shutdowns.

Flexibility: Casual rate $94DS /$100 NS Flat hourly rate with super paid on all hours. Permanent positions are available.
We can provide a rolling 3–6-month schedule of planned work and location.
Key Responsibilities:
- Working closely with project managers, site managers & HSEQ BP in defining project priorities, scope, approach, resource requirements, timing, and deliverables.
- Provide leadership to employees and ensure they have the required knowledge & tools to supervise maintenance safely & efficiently.
- Procure necessary resources for assigned projects.
- Establish and develop effective crews, whilst maintaining a positive onsite culture.
- Building and maintaining relationships, rapport, and trust with key stakeholders, this includes strong client liaison.
- Assist Mobilisation Team in the preparation of project roster and manning levels – Office-based
- Ensure compliance to the approved budget and manage costs in line with the budget.
- Assist sites with planning their schedules, estimating the costs and aligning this with operational requirements
The successful applicant will ideally have:
- WA Electrical License
- Previous experience in a similar role working for a contractor within a shutdown environment.
- Strong computer and systems skills and knowledge
- Extensive knowledge in the tasks of the works being executed including the equipment being used;
- Experience on am operational site subject to Mine Regulations requirements
- Strong Electrical operations experience
- Demonstrated experience in effective HSQE management
- Strong communication and people skills
- Section 44 or Schedule 26 Training – Appointed Persons
- Pass a pre-employment medical
