We are currently seeking an Experienced Electrical Supervisor with an excellent knowledge of mining camp construction for our client, a leading construction company.
This is a short-term position running to May 2024, with the possibility of extension.
You will provide leadership and guidance to all Electricians and supporting staff for the install and commissioning of camp accommodation and associated infrastructure.
You will apply your comprehensive understanding electrical practices to ensure safe and effective outcomes.
You will be supported in the role and encouraged to guide and develop your team with an emphasis on safe practices and high standards.
Requirements for the role include:
- Schedule 26 Right to work as a Minesite Supervisor (Section 44 ok)
- 3-5 years leadership experience in crushing
- Nationally Accredited Competency Tickets
- Current WA Electrical License
- High Voltage accreditation
- CPR/LV Rescue ticket within 1 year
- Section 44 Supervisors
- First Aid within 2 years
- EWP, WAH and Confined Spaces tickets
- Experience leading a crew with Crushing and Screening equipment.
- Experience Identifying and diagnosing items of the plant that require preventative maintenance or repair.
- Highly motivated and the ability to work independently.
- Have a “Can Do” attitude to safety.
- Current WA drivers’ license
