Electrical Team Lead

Genesis Minerals are currently seeking an Electrical Team Lead to join our Surface Maintenance team. This is a full-time position at Leonora Operations.
 
You will provide supervision of the Electrical Team to ensure effective and responsive maintenance support to Leonora operations.
 
Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent, you will provide supervision of the Electrical Team to ensure effective and responsive maintenance support to Leonora operations.  This opportunity is offered on a balanced 8 days on / 6 days off roster,  Fly-in Fly-out from Perth, Drive-in Drive-out from Kalgoorlie or residential in Leonora.
 
The opportunity

• Providing efficient and effective electrical supervision to Leonora Operations to ensure that the Gold processing plant can operate optimally at all times.
• Contributing to the Maintenance team to ensure that the Processing Department delivers to plan in respect of production, gold recovery and cost per tonne.
• Allocating work to a small team of qualified electrical trades people and an apprentice.
• Ensuring all electrical and installation work is carried out to appropriate standards as per the DMIRS Regulations.
• Ensuring all tasks are carried out in an environmentally sustainable manner.
• Ensuring your teams compliance to all applicable Regulations and Standards.

We would love to hear from you if you have​:

• Relevant & recognised Electrical Trade Qualification
• ‘A’ grade electrical worker’s licence
• Demonstrated relevant work experience, post trade qualification
• Electrical Instrumentation qualification is highly desirable
• Demonstrated relevant work experience in the mining industry, preferably in a fixed plant environment
