About The Role We are seeking an Electrical Technician to join the Maintenance team at our Cataby operation.
The Cataby mining operation is located near the Town of Dandaragan, approximately 150 kilometres north of Perth. The position is offered on a Drive in Drive out (DIDO) basis, on a family-friendly 7/7 roster, which consists of 7 days on, 7 days off, 7 nights on 7 days off. This fast-paced role will require a high level of attention to detail with exceptional teamwork and communication skills.
You will have demonstrated organisational skills and the ability to prioritise and complete tasks under limited supervision. Reporting to the Maintenance Coordinator, this role is responsible for optimising plant availability by performing maintenance tasks on fixed plant equipment in accordance with Iluka standards. Key accountabilities will include: Recommend and perform preventive maintenance routine inspections Carry out troubleshooting and diagnostic analysis Solve reliability issues using fault-finding abilities Continual assessment of the process, equipment and procedures
About You To be successful for this role, you will have: Electrical Trade certificate Experience in a similar role involving maintenance of fixed plant equipment Current WA ‘A’ Grade Electrical License Unrestricted WA C Class Drivers Licence
High risk work licence Strong communication and teamwork Good numerical, literacy, and computer skills High level of fault-finding and problem-solving skills Experience with computer-based maintenance systems – preferably SAP Previous experience in the following would be advantageous: Cert IV Instrumentation, HV switching, restricted split system a/c licence
Any of the following licenses would be highly regarded; Crane Licence, Riggers or Dogging ticket, HR Drivers Licence, Forklift ticket The successful candidate would be encouraged to become a member of our Emergency Response Team (ERT) and if required, further training will be provided. Our Offer
