Electrical Technician

We are looking for an Electrical Technician in Nhulunbuy NT who is interested in working in the Fire Protection industry.

About the Role

• Based in Nhulunbuy NT
• Reporting into the Electrical Supervisor
• Performing all facets of fire protection in a mining environment
• Installing and identifying, testing, servicing, and repairing fire protection and safety systems and equipment 

About You

• Experience working as an Electrical Technician, ideally in the Fire industry
• Australian Citizenship or Australian Permanent Resident (PR)
• Current Electrical Licence or FPAS Accreditation is advantageous.
• Previous experience in the Fire Protection Industry is advantageous.
• Current driver’s licence
• Able to undergo a pre-employment medical and police check.
• A sound knowledge of the applicable Australian Standards relevant to Fixed Systems fire protection equipment is preferred.
• A Fire Protection Accreditation Scheme accreditation and Cabling Licence are ideal, but not mandatory.
• Great attitude and willingness to deliver for our customer and client base.
