WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?
- Design, simulate, implement, prototype, debug existing and new electrical, electronics and RF hardware
- Support hardware maintenance, and documentation activities
- Assist hardware testing and quality assurance
- Assist development of technical specifications
- Assist in cost estimation
- Assist performance analyses
- Assist design reviews
- Identify and evaluate new technologies for use in development activities
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Skills Expectation
- Tertiary qualification (Bachelor’s degree or higher) in electrical / electronics / RF engineering
- Minimum 5 years experience in an Electrical/Electronics/RF engineering
- Ability to use spectrum analyzers, VNAs, oscilloscopes, and signal generators
- Demonstrated ability to use PCB CAD software
- Demonstrated ability to write and proofread technical documentation
- Ability to effectively manage time & prioritise tasks
- Ability to work individually and in a team environment
Essential requirements
- Live in South Australia or be willing to relocate
- Be an AUSTRALIAN citizen (non-citizens are unable to be considered due to the nature of our work)
- Be eligible and willing to obtain an Australian Government security clearance and retain that clearance while employed by Ebor Systems
- Willingness to travel within Australia and overseas if needed
Desirable requirements
- An existing Australian Government security clearance
- Programming skills in C and/or Python and/or Matlab
- Development skills for FPGA firmware on Xilinx platforms such Kintex and Kintex Ultrascale
- Understanding of RF engineering
- Understanding of circuit simulation packages, eg Spice
- Understanding of digital signal processing algorithms
- Experience with 3D CAD modelling software
- Working experience in Windows and Linux development environments
- Understanding of LV electrical power systems
