Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, inspect, test, and update electronic systems and components to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with engineers, other professionals, and clients to deliver projects that meet or exceed specifications.
- Ensure all electronic equipment and products adhere to safety regulations and standards.
- Stay abreast of technological advancements in the field of electronics and implement innovative solutions.
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with staff, vendors, suppliers, and other professionals in the industry.
- Write clear and concise specifications, instructions, and reports, and handle other required administrative duties.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles, including circuit design, analogue/digital electronics, power management, and PCB layout.
- Proficiency in microcontroller platforms (e.g., STM32) and programming languages (C/C++, Assembly).
- Ability to develop efficient and scalable code for device and sensor control.
- Knowledge of communication protocols (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Zigbee, Z-Wave) and home automation standards (Thread, HomeKit).
- Experience with sensor and actuator integration (motion, temperature, humidity sensors, etc.).
- Basic software engineering skills, including software architecture, version control (Git), and debugging.
- Proficient in hardware-software integration, functional testing, and system performance optimization.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, especially in hardware, firmware, or system integration.
