Benchmark Monitoring provides Environmental Monitoring services to the mining and power generation industries. We are seeking a trade qualified Electrical/Instrument Technician to join our expanding operation based in Singleton in the Hunter Valley.
You will be performing field maintenance, completing builds of new equipment (workshop based) and carrying out new installations (field based) on Environmental Monitoring Instrumentation including air quality, water quality and quantity, meteorological, noise and gas process monitoring equipment along with there associated data acquisition networks. You may also be required to upgrade, maintain and install new electrical services powering this equipment and complete testing and tagging.
Ideally but not essentially you will have previous experience with PLC’s, datalogging, telemetry, industrial networks and electrical installations along with post trade qualifications in Instrumentation and/or Industrial Electronics and PLC’s as well as experience in field calibration and installations of instrumentation and electrical services.
This is a hands on role but will require strict record keeping in order to comply with our ISO 9001 quality system, therefore experience and knowledge using the Microsoft Office Suite is desirable.
You will receive ongoing training provided both in-house and externally to ensure you reach your full potential.
The role is primarily based at Singleton NSW but may require some travel both within NSW and interstate.
Salary will be negotiated commensurate with skills and experience
