About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for an Electrician to join our team in the Singleton and Muswellbrook area. Reporting to the Electrical Supervisor, you’ll be employed on a full-time basis alongside a team of electricians. 

You will be working a 5-2 roster or a 10-4 roster and may be required to work on additional sites throughout NSW onfuture projects. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Installing, testing, and inspecting the electrical systems ensuring quality and design requirements are achieved prior to delivery.
• Leading by example, establishing and maintaining consistent performance standards with regards to operational procedures and support of safe, efficient and respectful work practices.
• Maintaining good communication, planning and organisational skills.
• Trouble shooting and problem solving to competently satisfy the project plan
• Inspecting work as necessary
• Promoting an improvement culture

Essential Skills and Experience:

• NSW Residence (no fly in/out available)
• Must have trade licence/certificate
• Current Drivers Licence
• OHS White Card
• LV/CPR licence is required
• Previous experience on a mine site is desirable 
• EWP and Working Safely at Heights is preferred
• MDG25 is preferred 
• A current Department of Fair Trading Contractor or Supervisor Licence
• A commitment to WHS&E and Quality management systems
• Able to understand and interpret schematics and terminations
• High attention to detail
• Exceptional communication skills and active listening skills
• The ability to work unsupervised on-site
• Experience in establishing and maintaining consistent performance standards with regards to operational procedures and support of safe, efficient and respectful work practices
