Electrician / Electrical & Instrumentation
NRGGOS is currently seeking to appoint a permanent full time Electrician to join the Maintenance Department. This position will work Monday to Friday, 36.25 hour week on a 9 day fortnight basis.
As a member of the electrical workgroup, you will work within a team that promotes and maintains a safe working environment and your role will focus on the following:
- Carry out maintenance activities to provide appropriate level of availability and reliability of electrical processes, plant and equipment
- Providing timely and quality response to breakdowns
- Providing technical input into planning and recommending improvements to standards, procedures and systems.
Essential Qualifications and Attributes include:
- Relevant Trade qualifications (Electrical Fitter Mechanic)
- Experience in power stations or heavy industry, together high voltage equipment would be highly regarded
- Good communication skills
- Self-motivated and results driven
Pre-Employment Requirements:
- Successful completion of a drug and alcohol test and pre-employment medical.
