Electrician / Security Technician

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY 

With our steady trajectory of growth, we at DISC have several positions available, Security technicians, electricians, and apprentices in both fields to continue or begin their career as a Security Technician or an Electrician who will specialize in electrical, security and building automation systems. This role is commercial based, and we work with some fantastic and diverse clients all over Melbourne. We are seeking a highly motivated candidate who enjoys and takes immense pride in what they do, you will be working directly with our highly qualified team and working with some of the industry’s most innovative technology.

Responsibilities will involve,

• Installation, programming and commissioning of CCTV and Access Control Systems.
• Installation of structured cabling systems.
• Maintenance of electronic security equipment.
• Complete (on a timely basis) timesheet and job records in accordance with departmental processes.

DISC will provide all workwear, personal protective equipment, tools, work vehicle and mobile phone allowance. 

Applicant must have the following. 

• Australian full time working rights.
• Victorian driving license. 
• Have a Victorian Construction Induction card (White Card) or complete/obtain before commencement date. 
• Have a passion for all things electrical.
• Willingness to obtain a Police Check and Working with Children’s Check.
