About the role
Enerven’s Underground Residential Development (URD) team is currently expanding its delivery capacity with multiple positions now available to join our diverse team constructing the underground electrical, telecommunication and public lighting infrastructure for multiple large scale land development projects across South Australia.
Under the leadership and direction of the Team Leader, Supervisor or Project Manager, your tasks will include the installation of:
- Underground High Voltage and Low voltage power cables and conduit systems
- Service Pits and Pillars and Transformers
- Underground public lighting circuits, light columns, and switchboards
In addition, you will be required to:
- Ensure that you follow safe work procedures at all times, use plant and equipment in a safe manner and wear safety protective clothing and apparel when required to do so
- Carry out the duties of an unrestricted Electrical worker (A class Electrician)
Most of our work is in the local Adelaide area (within 100kms) so this is a great opportunity for someone tired of the FIFO life. Our standard roster is a 72hr fortnight with 1 Rostered day off. There is opportunity for overtime (paid at double time), but it is not essential if it doesn’t suit your lifestyle.
(While most of the work will be local there may be occasional away from home work - overtime and travel allowances apply).
About you
You are an experienced trade qualified electrician, but your experience can come from a variety of different industries. If you are keen to try something new, don’t mind working outdoors, and enjoy autonomy in your work we want to hear from you!
Requirements include:
- Working knowledge of AS3000
- Current South Australian Unrestricted Electrical Workers registration
- Current SA drivers licence
- Good level of physical fitness
Beneficial, but not essential requirements include:
- Current High-risk licence - EWP over 11 meters
- MR or HR licence
- Experience hauling and terminating High voltage cables
- Knowledge of SA Power Networks Service and Installation Rules, NICC404 and TS085 is beneficial
