Seeking a hardworking, professional & reliable Electrician. The scope of work will consist of electrical installation, maintenance and repairs of domestic, commercial properties and construction. The position is based in Mackay and the surrounding areas.
Experience in air conditioning installation would be an added value to your application, but not essential.
Key Responsibilities will include;
- Working alongside a tradesman, apprentice or Trade Assistant when required.
- Undertake commercial/residential maintenance, repairs and installations
- Rewire, upgrade and install various electrical components
- Modify existing installations to achieve customer goals
- Electrical connection for air conditioning equipment.
- Understanding maintenance contracts.
- Establishing and maintaining business relationships with clients and internal team members.
- Good communication skills and attention to detail.
- Taking pride in your work and the business while working under minimal supervision.
- Willingness to undertake further training is highly regarded
The successful applicant will require the following;
- Current Electrical License
- Current Australian Drivers Licence
- Construction White/Blue Card
- Organisational, communication, customer service and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Experience working with Air Conditioners preferred but not essential
