We are looking for an Electricity Network Modelling Consultant to join our successful energy team in Brisbane.
Our experienced energy team is well regarded for its electricity market analysis and advice that it provides to government and private clients throughout Australia and South East Asia.
About the role
As an Electricity MLF and Network Consultant at ACIL Allen, you will:
- Undertake to, MLF and transmission network curtailment consulting assignments for our clients on existing and proposed generation projects
- Support our Principals and Directors by working as part of larger teams on electricity consulting engagements where MLF forecasting and network curtailment analysis is a component
- Liaise with clients on the projections and participate in Q&A sessions with clients and their other advisors/financing parties
- Make use of your strong communication skills to deliver well thought through written reports and presentations to clients, as well as participating in the preparation of compelling proposals to win new work.

About you
- You are proactive and able to apply analytical thinking to provide innovative solutions to clients.
- You have excellent written and verbal communication skills, research and analytical skills, and a professional presentation and approach.
- You have qualifications in electrical/power system engineering and have about 3 years’ experience in forecasting Marginal Loss Factors (MLFs) and transmission network curtailment in the National Electricity Market.
- You are able to work as part of a small team to assist with client MLF and network curtailment consulting engagements.
