Indcontrol Electronics, a growing electronics company servicing major infrastructure clients, seeks a skilled Electronics Service Technician to join our team in Cowandilla.

If you know your way around a PCB and can identify and repair the exact component causing a problem, we want to hear from you. Reporting to the Workshop Manager, your responsibilities will be to carry out diagnosis, repair, and maintenance tasks on a range of electronic and industrial power control equipment, primarily rectifiers, inverters, and control systems.

• Diagnose and repair power electronics equipment to component level.
• Provide best-practice repairs, ensuring quality and value for our clients.
• Work collaboratively to resolve repair, supply chain, and engineering issues.
• Train and mentor junior technicians, fostering a strong team environment.

To be considered for this position you must demonstrate the following:

• 5 years’ experience in a technical role servicing and repairing electronic and industrial equipment.
• Ability to undertake fault finding and repair of PCB assemblies and electronics systems to component level.
• Ability to read and interpret circuit diagrams.
• Demonstrated soldering experience on SMD components.
• Mechanical systems aptitude.
• Ability to operate using a process driven, analytical methodology.
• Outstanding problem solving and diagnostics skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to provide guidance and assistance to other workshop technicians.

The following qualifications will be highly regarded when assessing candidates for this role:

• Tertiary qualification in electronics or power systems, and/or relevant industry experience.
• Customer service experience.
• Workplace Health and Safety training.
• Materials handling and manual handling training.
