Can you troubleshoot complex power electronics?
Indcontrol Electronics, a growing electronics company servicing major infrastructure clients, seeks a skilled Electronics Service Technician to join our team in Cowandilla.
If you know your way around a PCB and can identify and repair the exact component causing a problem, we want to hear from you. Reporting to the Workshop Manager, your responsibilities will be to carry out diagnosis, repair, and maintenance tasks on a range of electronic and industrial power control equipment, primarily rectifiers, inverters, and control systems.
Key Duties:- Diagnose and repair power electronics equipment to component level.
- Provide best-practice repairs, ensuring quality and value for our clients.
- Work collaboratively to resolve repair, supply chain, and engineering issues.
- Train and mentor junior technicians, fostering a strong team environment.
To be considered for this position you must demonstrate the following:
- 5 years’ experience in a technical role servicing and repairing electronic and industrial equipment.
- Ability to undertake fault finding and repair of PCB assemblies and electronics systems to component level.
- Ability to read and interpret circuit diagrams.
- Demonstrated soldering experience on SMD components.
- Mechanical systems aptitude.
- Ability to operate using a process driven, analytical methodology.
- Outstanding problem solving and diagnostics skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to provide guidance and assistance to other workshop technicians.
The following qualifications will be highly regarded when assessing candidates for this role:
- Tertiary qualification in electronics or power systems, and/or relevant industry experience.
- Customer service experience.
- Workplace Health and Safety training.
- Materials handling and manual handling training.
